Importing ASCII Load files into Sanction II

Load files provide a convenient way to add file path information to a Sanction II case with a minimum of user interaction. Load files are typically ASCII text files containing unique IDs and the corresponding file path location for each item.

A load file may as simple as a three field, comma delimited file, or as complex as a third party database.

Sanction II can import load files created by the majority of third party vendors. The supported imports are listed when selecting Load Files from the Main Screen Imports menu –

You may even import "empty" documents in order to code prior to imaging using the Empty Document List import!

To import a load file, choose Import from the main screen menu select the type of file you wish to import from the Files of Type drop down list. Then browse to the file location and click on the button.

You may also drag individual load files onto the Main case folder.
