New and Improved Drag and Drop
The old method of dragging and dropping your files into Sanction could take awhile if you had several directory folders full of files. Now you can drag and drop entire folders full of files into Verdical.
- Grab a folder with several document files by using either Windows Explorer or My Computer and drag and drop the folder onto the Documents category in the Tree View of Verdical.
- When the Add Files window opens you will see new options such as a dropdown to select which Category to put the files in. There’s also an option to choose the group name using the Folder Name which was dragged and dropped into Verdical.
- In the Advanced Tab there is also an option to copy those files to a specified location which allows for users to drag and drop items into Verdical and then copy those files to a location specific to their case. This also allows users to drag and drop video files from a CD into Verdical which will then copy the video files from the CD to a location specific to the case much faster than copying and pasting directly from the CD.
- The user can also choose to keep the Add Files window open so they can drag and drop more items directly into the Add Files window. To utilize this option make sure the “Close After Import” option in the Advanced tab is unchecked.
