If this is your first time installing Verdical, please select the Full Package Install. Your Account Name and Password information can be found in the email you received when you purchased your Verdical License.

 

*Verdical requires the 2.0 .Net Framework and SQL Server Express. Only choose the Verdical-Only Install if you already have these required components installed.

First Time Installing Verdical

If this is your first time installing Verdical please select the Full Package Install. Make sure to copy and paste Account Name and Password from the email you received when you purchased your license and click Submit to begin downloading.

Once the download is complete, run Verdical-Package-1.2.0.0.exe and follow the prompts to install 2.0 .NET Framework and/or SQL Server Express if necessary.

When 2.0 .NET Framework and SQL Server Express are installed, continue to follow the prompts to install Verdical. To complete the install, make sure you are connected to the internet and copy and paste your Account Name and Password information to activate Verdical.

Product Activation

Upon first launch of Verdical, a server connection must be established to SQL Server. Click on the Browse button and select a registered SQL Server with an Instance Name of Verdical.

Now that Verdical and SQL Server are connected, you are ready to begin creating cases. Please consult the Tutorial found in the Help menu in Verdical for step by step instructions on getting started.

Updating Verdical

Before installing the latest update of Verdical, please uninstall any previous versions of Verdical by going to Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or Programs and Features (Windows Vista).

Please select the Verdical-Only Install. The Verdical-Only Install does not include the prerequisite downloads for 2.0 .NET Framework and SQL Server Express as they should already be installed from your previous Verdical installation.

Copy and paste the Account Name and Password from the email you received when you first purchased your license and click Submit to begin downloading the Verdical Install.

Once the download is complete, run Verdical-Install-1.2.0.0.exe and follow the prompts to install Verdical.

When the install is complete, there are no other steps to update Verdical. Simply launch Verdical to begin. Please consult the Tutorial found in the Help menu of Verdical for step by step instructions on getting started.
